Re: User Hincapie stops stacked trades if only one link is l

I find that Hincapie is very loyal with his links. I park some domains with hostedtube because I can move links along with them. But I also found that LS bot sometimes reads the link on a hostedtube site as down when it is actually still there. Resending the spider usually solves my problem.

Dropped Links

Hi everyone,

My servers crashed for 16 hours and that resulted in the spider showing some dropped links. All the links are still there and my servers have been restored. Sorry about the confusion.

Re: We need a member shitlist

What about members that have in their profile "sites only in english" then try to link an italian site? And when you point it out to them they drop your other links. Sound familiar amaporn? Your name is definitely on mine.

Re: Selling a website

I do believe that the buyer, being a linkspun member, should be fully aware of the value of existing linkspun trades and should try to honor them if presented with a list of existing linkspun trades. I did not do this either so the blame is still mine.

Re: Selling a website

I think this thread was started because of me. When I sold the site (not just the domain), I mentioned existing trades to the buyer and they said they were not making any promises. They are a member of linkspun and we agreed to see what happens. This is the result. It was the buyer that stripped the...

I'll be gone.....

I'm going to be away for a month and I set all my sites to hidden to reduce trade requests until I get back. All current requests should already be taken care of on my end.

Thanks

Re: My Only Issue with LinkSpun Users

Sometimes I may have a site I'm about to bring live that the link would trade would better be suited to. I then PM the requester to wait until I can bring it online. It is never more than a week. I try to get all trades done every time I log in. If I feel I'm getting too busy in my offline activitie...

Re: damn..penalized by google

I look at every site that links to me. If it looks like a link farm, I don't trade. Then I run it on this tool: http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm I don't take their results to heart though, it just lets me see who's linking to them before they link to me or vice versa. Also, Google ...

Bad Neighborhoods

I was doing a bad neighborhood links check and saw that they consider Adult Friend Finder Affilite links as bad links. So be careful that the sites you link to do not have an over abundance of these links on the page your linking to.

Just a heads up.

Re: Requested Trades that are ignored

I just delete them from the Request page after about 2 weeks. Yeah I`m going to do that to, but knowing that a person hasn't logged in for lets say 30 days might have saved some extra work.;-) I'm fairly new to this system but when I get a request or ask for a trade, before I do, I click their prof...

V_Rocks, thanks for the instant trades, even the stacked ones. That being said, I'll try your chillax theory ;)

Re: This month's deadbeats Madsex and Deadmoon

Thanks for reponding quickly and finishing the trade. I know you're not a deadbeat. Just a little slow. Each has his own way of doing business. Thanks for letting me now you keep things in pending so long. It will be taken into consideration when I'm accepting links.

Yeah... thanks. This thread was bumped from last month.. Well I'm bumping it again. Deadmoon, Don't ask me for new trades if you can't act on the ones you have in Pending status with me. You asked me for the trade and I gave you an equal trade in return. Now you're goona let it sit there and ask fo...

I'm here almost everyday including weekends. I place trades almost immediately. Also looking for some deep linking.

It's really not rocket science. We are all here looking for links. Period. If you accept a trade, put it up. 72 hrs for the lock is fine. I usually place the link as I accept the trade.

Re: Spider doesn't see the link. 2 times for 2 different reasons

index.php is my homepage. The link is there and working. It's a wrapper (wrapper.html) for my toplist script and builds the page around the toplist. I don't know how to make it visible to your spider. Script is Aardvark Topsites Php

Re: Trade Setup Question

a few days wait isn't an issue, especially during summer or holidays. but if a week or so goes by, then that's too long. Yes it is because he signed back in after the fact. Even stacked trades, although tedious, can be accomplished in a timely manner. Google crawls my main sites frequently and I do...

Trade Setup Question

This really burns me. :x When someone requests a trade which you approved, how long should you wait before pulling their link even though they keep signing in afterwards and didn't place your link? I think the person should take care of their business on the next sign-in but I'm checking with the co...
