For a pr2 in itself i´d pay close to nothing, but if the traffic is and relevant, it has good relevant rankings and juicy backlinks - that´d be worth something, though not exactly a ton.

Honestly, I think you should reverse your thinking. Pinterest is about as harmless as it gets - as photos are generally shared individually or in small galleries ... instead of finding ways to block them, find ways to utilize them and drive traffic/sales.

Yeah....the yahoo backlinks checker used to give a swift (if not 100% reliable) result on all sites ... im not impressed with majestic or any of the other toolbar options ive tried so far

Absolutely, there is a case for linking to relevant quality sites of related topics from your site ... but in a link-trading context, thats not always benifitial of course
