What's still considered softcore

Post by major48 »

This may be a stupid question but here goes. Can a lesbian site also be considered softcore? You know if I have a blog with some solo girls but also some posts here and there with lesbians could i still reasonably trade with other softcore sites? I always thought softcore was anything except actual penetration sex. Then that brings another question. If a woman fucks another woman with a strap-on does that then make the whole thing hardcore?

I always find this to be difficult myself also. I tend to say that all that does not include a male penetrating a woman is softcore. But lately you see women fisting each other in all holes they can fit which seems to be hardcore in my book.

I think of softcore as anything without penetration including lesbians...

If it is two porn stars going at it with the ewwwhhhs and ahhhhs and spitting on each others pussy and then slapping clits... not softcore...

Ok the pornographer steps up to answer this question.

There are actually 2 types of softcore in the biz.

1) Playboy softcore which shows nudit, perhaps a little flash of vagina filmed at a distance. But no penis and never ever any form of penetration or genital close ups.

2) The second is softcore as defined by everyone else. If you're filming a woman naked but non sexual.. full frontal nudity is allowed. But if there is a sex scene, you can only show her buttocks and her breasts. Close ups during "love making" can only be on the faces and on the bodies of the two people touching but only to show their forms.. no naughty parts should be showing.

A good rule of thumb is

If you're trying to get a playboy deal then you can film hardcore but cheat the angles to keep male penis and penetration out of the softcore version.

If you're shooting softcore for anyone else, nothing more than breasts or bums.
