What is this?

Post by major48 »

Hey guys. In google webmaster tools the preview image of one of my sites has a little grey square in the upper left hand side and I don't know what it means. I have searched google but I can't find anything about it. Here is a picture of it.

<link rel="canonical" href="http://twerkflix.com/" /> is probly not helping you out, i see no reason to use a canonical url on your site, also google does not like ads above the fold so your sidebars are not helping you either, also try using rel="nofollow" on your aff links.

go here and have a read up on canonical urls http://support.google.com/webmasters/bi ... wer=139394

hope this helps u out

Hey thanks again for the help. I moved my sidebars to the right so that text would be scanned first by the google bots and that has made a improvement on the blogs that I tried it with. I always ask for help with this stuff because I know it has to be just some dumb crap that im doing so that I don't get traffic
