Changing the page I link from

I want to edit the pages I put the links on. At the moment one is http://astral-blue.com/tour/

And I want to put the links here http://astral-blue.com/links/index.php and inform people that's where it will go.

Thanks for your help. New to all this and want to get it right.

Only Vrocks can edit it, but i suggest dropping and submitting another trade as he is already bombarded with amnesties on the other thread.

It would be a nice option to have, to be able to edit a link, then to notify the trade partner about it, a before and after look of the trade.

OK I want to put up a new site in my quick links and for the life of me I can't figure out where to do it. Can someone point me to the place, I can figure the rest out I hope. :D

I don't think it is a good idea to change the link from. If I accept a trade with a partner I do accept the trade with that site he/she offered for me. I always trade with my main sites and don't put partnerlinks into another sub-pages or .../links/index.php which has weaker PR and less visitors who can click on my link.

I can see your point. On the paysite I can't have other peoples links on the main tour page. As this is where affiliates traffic goes. On my blog I might be able to do this, yet don't want to send traffic to other peoples blogs when I have worked to get it. Seems fruitless. My aim was merely to get more SE recognition, weaker or not.
No point in getting traffic with some of the content I have then have it go to another blog.

I fully agree.

BTW: I never trade witch such pages. I don't think I can benefit from a link on those pages dedicated to just gather outgoing links.

I also can see your point and I know linktrading isn't about traffic increasing - however sometimes it works pretty well (no in case of footer links). That's why I give back footer link for footer links, sidebar link for sidebar links... It"s no problem but if I accept a main page linktrade I wouldn't like to get back a link from a subpage.

I think it can generate a lot of trade droppings and useless work.

There is a simple solution: set up a separate tour page for your affiliates. Many paysites do this.

Talk about wanting your cake and eat it

One workaround would be to create some feeder sites for your blog. Use those to trade links and also set up some prominent links on them to send traffic to your blog.

The feeder sites don't need to be anything special and they don't have to be blogs. Static html sites with three or four pages will suffice.

Thank you. I'm setting up a new blog and that may have a place for links on the main page, now I figured out how to add pages and sites I will push forward. A lot of the content I'' pushing on Astral Blue and Strictly Porn is exclusive and unique. Retro amateur of English girls. Limited appeal and an even more limited supply. The main aim is to get SE spiders on the page. Maybe exchanging traffic with blogs that appeal to people who are not looking for my porn would be a good idea.

Any chance you can complete the link trade you requested two weeks ago? I'm giving you a free, non affiliate link from a PR1 site that otherwise makes me regular sales with the other paysites I feature there from very highly targetted traffic. In return I requested a link from your PR0 blog, which you now appear to think is too valuable to give links from. Or would you rather I undo the trade and delete any future requests?

Ok. When you add a link you should go to the "srtup trades" page and click on the green button next to it for the Linkspun link checker to check it and move it to active trades.

Yes, but it was me that clicked on the button. It's better if the last person to add the link does it, then it doesn't look like the trade is still waiting to be completed.
