Session Cookie Extension

Can the session cookies be extended to enable a longer login-period or how about a possibility of setting something like "never log out automatically" in the user-profile? I keep getting logged out of my account way too fast and having to login again every time I take a break is kinda annoying. Thanks!

Are you using a browser in secret/incognito mode? If so it is clearing your cookies when you close the window and there is nothing I can do about it.

You will remain logged in for at least 2 weeks. I am pretty sure it is much more than that though since I never have to login. So your request may very well have already been granted. The problem is on your side.

No, I am not and this is happening in Firefox as well as in Opera. I don't even close the tab but after about 10 mins of inactivity I'm logged out in both browsers.

Again, this is happening on your side and only to you. The cookie is set for 30 days. I just checked it. It gets renewed every time you come back. So the only way to get auto-logged-out is to not visit LinkSpun for 30 days.

While this is frustrating for you, there is NOTHING I can do on my side that will change your problem. Your computer is deleting the cookie or not setting it for whatever reason. Maybe you are using third party software from antivirus or possibly the router that is stripping the cookie from the header? I have no idea what your unique situation is... I can only say it again: The cookie is set for 30 days. Your computer is not storing it for what ever reason. LinkSpun is sending it out and I am 100% positive on that.

And only on linkspun.com ;) I checked cookies from linkspun for both browsers - they're all there. I know your time is precious so I don't wanna bother you with this trifle anymore - I'll just keep on logging in thirty times each and every day. Thank you for your attention.

You can try deleting cache and cookies for linkspun.com and see if that helps... If either are corrupted this could happen. There are plenty of plugins out there that will do this for only the site you are currently on. Web Developer comes to mind as one that does this.
