Thumblogger link errors!

Just want to address all link exchange partners regarding problems with Thumblogger. All links are up. Problem is with Thumblogger not allowing linkspoon bot to check links. I tried to sort this out with Twan (webmaster of Thumblogger) but with no response so far. Jdoughs and Drocd have also tried to solve this problem. Main thing is that there is no worries about links, they are online. In future I will add comment about this issue for every new link exchange.

We basically have 3 options or ways this can happen.
  • Twan or whoever is running these sites takes 30 seconds to add us to their whitelist.
  • Linkspun pays a programmer to rewrite the spider to handle Thumblogger sites specially, with no knowledge of if it will continue to work, since all the thumblogger brand sites seem to be 'ran by nobody'.
  • I stop allowing people to add Twan's free hosts to our tool

Guess which one I've been hoping happens?

Guess which one I'm leaning towards now.

I'm guessing you'll reach the same decision as Mr. Bond.

It would be shame to drop thumblogger! There are lot`s of good, well ranked sites that can bring much traffic but I can understand your frustration (and mine too)!

I agree, and I've posted many times about thumblogger and how people were crazy not to take advantage of using the service.

I have several added in my own account as well. It would suck but if he won't whitelist us, adding more will just increase the frustration all around.

I already have a trade or two with them and had a site or 3 but they are just not worth it.

Drop them like a hot potato.. No new Thumblogger.
