HTTP vs HTTPS

Post by vrocks »

Many people are dealing with issues with https sites that are previously in Linkspun as http.

So I have made the link checker consider both https and http the same thing. For now.

This will make it so that you don't have to re-add or change anything for now. And if somebody accidentally enters the URL one way or the other the trade will still work.

Not the best solution. But it is what we've got.

I've noticed a slightly annoying problem related to this which is that when requesting a trade, the drop down list doesn't show the difference, it only shows the domain name not the http scheme. So if you have both versions in your account, you can't tell if you're asking someone to link to the http version or the https version.

noticed same

but i don't know way to fix that, as you cant remove that page form your account if it has trades, if you hide it you still see it there

only scullion is to check source code and see page ID number that is newer and use that domain
mostly it's second one

URL's with https will now have an 's' in front of them.

In the first trade...
https://nouw.com/1cam
That site uses javascript to render the entire page. Linkspun is not compatible with this.

http://www.bpornd.com/
Does not have a link to http://4k-vr.com/

In the second example both sites do not have a link into the site they are supposed to be linking into.

how should i show you that it's there ?

telling that you don't see it does not fixes problem

if we play like this do you see https://publicslut.xyz/ with anchor Public Sluts Gone Wild ?
and next to it Asian Anal Porn Videos that is https://asianal.xyz/

id you don't see any of them, then i just can't do anything about that.

i have tested 4+ public proxy surfing different ip's browsers mobile desktop and i see the links no-matter from what part of world i access it.

just tell me how to show you them there.

Another issue with http/https

Let's say that your link partner has a site in the system that is http and your site is not allowing you to be on SSL while having an outbound link that is http:

Now you can strip the scheme from the link entirely.

So an outbound link that was <a href="http://domain.com/">
Can now be: <a href="//domain.com/">
