Notes before trade

it would be nice to do such a thing.
when someone clicks on a button "Request Trade" and gets on the trade page.
Somewhere between
"Request trade with username | Type: Single - Stacked"
and
"Linked From:"
inserted to the requirements for trade from the user with whom you are going to trade.
General or a specific niche.
At least something like the fact that many are forced to write in the comments to trade.
e.g.
"links only to close niches!
not teen=>bbw, or lingerie=>shemale
I don't trade with phonesex sites and webcam sites!"

Sorry for bad english.

Yes irrelevant niche trades are very annoying. Getting many of those. I guess certain members use automated tools to request trades from every site within the niche.

Wonder if anything can be done with this? At least you can eventually block most of them from viewing your profile and spamming you with their crap.

Its true theres irrelevant requests floating - but equally, very different definitions of the term "relevant".

Say I have a bdsm site - I want to rank for a variety of bdsm terms of course and as such seek trades for that. Now, some would say "look in the bdsm category and choose narrowly the most relevant ones for your terms" - a valid approach...but I wouldnt agree - I would be happy to trade with gay bdsm sites, fetish models solosites, spanking sites, bondage sites, rough sex sites etc etc - as they are all related and sharing key terms.

So, if you have a very narrow definition of relevant and I have a wider one - a request I send might seem like annoying bastardly spam, whereas its actually handpicked and genuinely thought about...just not on your terms.

So anyway, nothing really offends or annoys me about linktrading - doesnt take me a second to deny trades I dont fancy - and everyone has different strategies and goals, I wont sit there and get angry and judge the ways of others - im just happy if sometimes my preferences fit with those of others and we can do some jolly trades.

Well, I was referring to certain requests, where for example a gay tube site asks for a link from my mature women site. It's even more cool when they only have a bunch of totally irrelevant sites in their portfolio to linkback from.

I think it's not that important who links to you, since this can be outside of your control. However it's very important who do you link to. In above case (mature women - > gay) such link is not a good idea. Sure most likely nothing will happen, but why risk it?

I agree relevancy is often so vague, but sometimes there are blatantly irrelevant trade requests.

Heya

Yeps - an example like that I would reject too - as there is no obvious crossover of any sort to be found...so that wouldnt appear to have much value.

have not read all your discussion but for the main topic would say that would be good because now we only have option to add something to profile :) but to show some text on request page would be good .

The only thing not relevant to a porn link trade is a main stream link trade and even that really depends.

You guys need to think a little harder about your trades. What google actually does and not what they TELL you that it does.
