An addition to the "account lock" feature

It drives me crazy responding to trade requests, and then they just get ignored from the original trader. They just sit there idling in the outgoing pending section for the trader to accept for weeks. Remember we are talking about trades initiated not by me, but the other party.
Can we get some kind of lock on the account like the "setup trade" just a little less strict? Like if you have initiated a trade, got a proposal, and need to accept - perhaps lock the account after 3 days of non-acceptance or denial?
It's a waste of peoples time if this continues to happen, especially if you respond to 8-10 trades from the same person, browse and check his or her sites, and get nothing out of it.
