Traffic Stats?

How feasible would it be to have a way to register the amount of traffic that a site gets? Would that be a valuable metric, and would people enable/use it?

IE, similar to statcounter, users could include a tracking pixel to record visits/pageviews on the respective pages.

Provide pageviews/unique visitor stats per page for the owners, and then a "zone" rating for other webmasters to see.

EG, use a simple formula, sum visitors and/or pageviews over the past 30 days. Then create a color range, or icon, or just show the group name... groups: "< 500" "500 to 2000" "2000 to 10,000" "10,000 to 50,000" "50,000 - 100,000" "100,000 - 500,000" and "500,000+"

It might be a bit outside of the scope of the service, but the tracking stats could be 2-fold, as a premium feature could be to rank your trades based on traffic sent... just like LO has a tracking pixel to track trade productivity.

you can always go to web page and check it Alexa rank and you will have approximately number of traffic that it gets.

so it's better to add Alexa rank instead of some kind of tracking pixels or similar.

This will exist to a certain degree on the new rollouts coming, some users now can see similar data. We can't go to far into what's coming but it is in the works now.

You will see lots of progression over the next few weeks around here.

Locking this just to purge this forum of what's been suggested and done, in process, or needs to get done.
