Apologies to those who have been trying to trade links with me in the last few weeks. I've been suffering from a couple of illnesses, one of which was an eye infection which was painful and made my eye photophobic. This made it difficult to look at a PC screen for more than a few moments at a time - or even watch TV come to that. So, I just decided to take a complete rest from work for a while. It's on the mend now though so I'll be working on the backlog of link requests and so on over the next week. Thanks for your patience.

This made me think that Linkspun needs an "away" status, or even simply a message that users can fill out which will appear on their profile and request page. Such as "I check trade requests every Wednesday" or "Going away for 2 weeks, will be back on Jul 10".

Make sure it shows dates.

Like: "I will be away from LS from Monday June 10 to Friday June 23 2010."
Whenever some tries to start a trade with them it shows that message in red... you can still offer the trade but you it may be a while to get a reply etc...

I like that idea are a lot!
