WTB Quality Hardlinks, Alexa and/or PR
WTB Quality Hardlinks w/Alexa and/or PR Looking for yearly links on pages with an Alexa less than 1 million or pages with Alexa less than 2 million but with decent Page Rank (2 or higher). No networks please, or package deals. We look at each site by itself. Our budget is big and we are willing to p...

Your link at the top of my page, link exchange
Hi, I have 5 sites that I will put a link to your site(s) on any, or all, at the very top of the page. All have pr and are on different IP's. Google has said that they value content more that is "above the fold" and that they may discount, ignore, or even penalize both the sending and rece...

Get your site some of the best backlinks available here
Hi, There are a lot of folks with their good sites (the ones that they are developing incoming links to) hidden here and showing a whole lot of sites that a back link on would be totally useless. I am of the opinion that if you get a link in the footer of a site that has no positions in the serps fo...

Looking for specific type link exchanges
Hi, I have some good sites that I can link back to you from, sites with decent Alexa ratings, that show up for some good terms at Google, and do not have a lot of outgoing links. What I am looking for is basically the same thing, and I am looking for all niches: - I do not want a link on EVERY page ...

Google Algo Update starting Sept 30, 2010
So, now that the Epass fiasco is somewhat fading away, thanks to the folks at St Kitts, I wanted to see if anyone else is seeing some very weird results in the serps at google? I watch the serps fairly closely and try to keep up with SEO. Starting September 30th and still going on today, I'm amazed ...

Re: SEO - Backlinks vs On Site Factors
I agree, backlinks from sites that place well for their targeted keyword phrases are best...exponentially so if the site has few outgoing links. Google is changing the way that it displays backlinks. I noticed that Webmaster Tools is showing a lot more backlinks than it used to. One of my sites, Deb...

Re: SEO - Backlinks vs On Site Factors
Elegant, google shows it with 1890 links...of course the majority of those are internal links, but those count as well.
To what do you attribute that sites success?

Re: SEO - Backlinks vs On Site Factors
Yep, Relentless...as Google has pointed out they have over 200 factors that they consider in ranking a site. I found that one in particular noteworthy because it did not have that keyword anywhere on the page. If you look at it's Alexa, it's bounce rate is not that great...not horrible, but a bit be...

SEO - Backlinks vs On Site Factors
So, thought I'd open this for discussion by showing an example first: Search google for "blowjobs" ... do you see the #1 site as http://www.blowjobvision.com/ ? Don't click on the link, click on the "cached" link on google's page right next to the url. Do you see anything interes...

Re: Same IP linking for PR?
You know...the issue of different ip's and class c's came about with people building networks of sites for the purpose of artificially inflating their votes (backlinks). Google uses backlinks (it is the most important factor, by far) in determining where a page is ranked for a keyword phrase, or mul...

Re: The Fairness of a Trade
I see no problem denying trades. They asked you, it's ok for you to politely say no...which is what denying is. Some folks just spam all of your sites, it's a little annoying. The phone sex folks, people looking for links to paysites, etc unless they have a relevant site to exchange links with, or y...
