More TWAN drama. If you use his directories, read this!

Looking to push links to a site and want specific niches, site types, numbers, tld's etc, this is a good place to ask or look.

If you use the Sex Blog Demon, Gold Adult Blogs, etc directories Twan offers as a nifty way to get instant traffic and PR you need to pay attention to the fact that his scripts randomly drop links over time.

I am sure there is good reason and maybe his bot that checks the links didn't find his link and it dropped you... But... Since you gave him your Email address don't you think he could have created a bot that Emails you to let you know? Perhaps one that even sends you a link to put you back in once your site is back up???

Here are some examples for me:

RhinosGirls.com (submitted in 2005) -> missing 5 links in the first batch of sites and 1 in the second.
Cockasourus.com (2006) 5 and 2
Hot4MILF.com (2009) 3 and 1

The list goes on... for about 35 blogs... Now consider that if I did nothing and didn't resubmit them it'd be about 1/4 to 1/3 of a difference. Enough to negatively effect your sites especially if you don't have a lot of trades on them.

I highly suggest you resubmit your older sites and then come back here with your findings.

The first list: http://www.adultblogresource.com/submitter/
The second list: http://www.adultwebmastergroup.com/submitter/index.php

You can reach the second one with your stuff pre-populated if you notice the link towards the top'ish right hand side of the screen once you submit to the first list.

Just drop directories after several months to an year, your blog will be so far down their listings it's not worth it anymore.

As for Twan, it's a well known fact that his empire grew beyond his control. Things are getting fixed slowly if at all, sometimes links are dropped for no reason and blogs on his hosts deleted with no warning with no reply from support.

I guess he either has other priorities in life or his empire is cashing enough on autopilot as it is.

One thing that truly amazes me is the lack of competent advertising on his sites. And his lack of using his sites to better promote his own agendas...
