Banned/Removed User Thread. Please check against your links.

Post by jdoughs »

This thread will consist of recent bans and user/page removal from Linkspun. I'm a pretty reasonable man and often will stay as neutral as possible, but blatant references to forced or non-consensual sex, and any type of illegal child images, will be dealt with immediately.

To see if you may be trading links with a webmaster who has been listed below, simply load up your Active Trades page, and start typing their nick into the search bar in the table header.

  • Misterio - Several 'pr3-t33n' porn sites, user has been banned and domains added to the blacklist.

If you find that you have existing trades with these users I would have to recommend that you take them down. I will not post the offending domain(s) here but can assure you that most of the offending pages were on sites that are indeed involved in active trades.

So you may not be linking to CP, but you are linking to the domain that shows it and this will certainly not help your search results.

Thanks for helping to keep Linkspun the best community of ethical traders online.

I suspect there are some people here who will blindly accept a trade without even bothering to check what they are being asked to link to. You have to be careful what you link TO, as well as where you get links FROM!

Hmm, I've traded with said amnet and didn't notice anything even remotely close to CP or r@pe porn amongst his blogs. Just a bunch of toon blogs based on legitimate sponsor content, such as from Vip Pay. Honestly I know shit about toons and never advertised them, but it seems some people mistake them with CP as certain toons look young.

I actually know amnet a little and he says said "misterio" just showed him how to use Linkspun. It's because he can barely read English.

Seems like a whole lot of fuss about nothing. However if you for sure have seen amnet's blogs with illegal content, please pm a couple URLs to me. I'll educate that silly guy if this happens to be true. It's easy to put a nasty label on someone, but there are actually noobs out there who sometimes just don't know.

Thanks for taking the time to respond Venril. Basically this is exactly how this all happened.

Yesterday he added several domains to the tool that were 'pr3t33n' related. pr3t33ns fucking, sucking, pr3t33ns.domain.com/pr3-t33n-eating-cum/ etc.

He emailed me this morning to ask why he was banned and I told him that pr3t33n meant 10, 11, and 12 year old girls, and this was in NO way acceptable, and I would not be lifting the ban.

He replied that he knows little English, and used a 'synonym' and 'translator' tool to register domains and subdomains. I suspect that he ran several teen keywords and was returned a list of English synonyms for 'young teens, young girls, etc' which, I bet COULD and WOULD return the words preteen.

EDIT - Im going to remove amnet from the list/ban, he was only a casualty for having the same IP/Cookie as Misterio.

Hey there, thanks for the kind words, I had you pegged as the same user as Misterio and that is why you were banned as well.

I haven't lifted his ban, but I do believe that he did not know what the terms meant. Unfortunately that doesn't protect us all here from any backlashes from search engines, or from local authorities.

I'll keep this updated.

Doesn't matter, his sites had that phrase all over them, not just in the domain names. So they will be indexed in G with that content now. And of course ignorance is no defence in the eyes of the law and shouldn't be in this case either.

Yep, exactly why he's still gone.

Anyone looking for high quality original text content in English contact me via ICQ# 266942896 or visit www.EngineFood.com. I have done several sites for people who do not use English as their primary language and I can provide many references from respected webmasters that the text I provide is both legal and effective.

yuck. i almost lost my lunch reading some of this thread. don't people get arrested for making that kind of crap? this is why i always check the link, look for a 2257, and make sure it's in english. sorry guys whose sites are in another language if i can't read it then i don't know what you're promoting in your text. *shrugs*

Just to clarify there was no illegal content on the sites, they just had extremely poor taste in verbage.

I also believe the guy about it being a big mistake, he deleted all the sites after I banned him and told him what it actually meant.

I can see the translator/synonym scripts giving out these as matches for teen girls, girls etc.

Unfortunately it don't change the fact that they were inside the database, which we cannot allow.

Jeebus... I run a lot of teen sites, and NEVER would I try to rank for the term "pr3t33n" as a term in the domain or otherwise. Your just asking for legal trouble, unless of course, your into that sort of thing and your country doesn't care one way or the other. That's for another discussion, but needless to say, trying to rank for that term is utterly retarded.

Good call on the ban, I don't believe I traded anything with him. It would be nice if a user is banned, that all traders are notified on their trades, so we can remove them. Like some kind of warning or notification in the active trade list, or all trades go into error.... just a suggestion.
