How to limit anchor text length of potential trades?

Hi,

so many trades request very long anchor text, why do they do this? I mean something like

"Mature Club - MILF Live Cams 24/7, Free Virtual Webcam Sex and High Standard Adult Shows"

isn't good for seo at all I think.
And the width for anchor text on my sites is limited, is there a way to reduce the length of their text? If I delete some words by myself I get the error that the anchor text isn't setup correct. Is there any other way?

If that was the real anchor text you have above, I'd deny it and tell them to get a clue.

That is terrible anchor text and won't benefit anyone, anyway.

at least this is what "Title:" says on the trade_request page. And there are endless trades with titles of 12 and more words.

There are great ones with everything included, like "Title: Free pussy amateur girl stream porn and live sex webcam boobs".

But I'm new to linkspun so I'm not sure, is the title the anchor text or not?

Ahh nope that is the page title of the page.

Anchor text will be the actual anchor text (should be marked wherever shown but cant say exactly where as it depends what page/stage of the trade your on).

ahh, okay, thanks. So script grabs the title from the page.

I thought it's what one put into the "Add QuickAnchor:" on the "Edit QuickUrls" page and is then shown as anchor-title.

For the QuickUrls and QuickAnchors what you'll want to do is add pages/sites that you often get your inbound links to. Just select off the page to add, and then add a list of keywords that you usually use for links in. After you've done that, when you're requesting or responding to link trades, you'll see those QuickUrls show up where you select a page for your own link. You can click that Url, and a list of your chosen keywords will appear beside the keyword input area, you just click one, and it will automatically add that Anchor Text and URL to the form.

It's basically just to give you a quick way to add trade information when requesting or responding to trades, allows you to quickly select the URLs and Anchors you usually use.
