Inbox | lost unreads count ?

Post by 123anddone »

hello,

seems that it's bug or something that "Inbox |" lost unread count ["Inbox(1) |"]

i have to load all data at "Home" or go to "Inbox" to see comments on trades, drops etc.

can it be restored ? so it wont be needed to load all Showing 1 to 25 of 2,077 entries from database

and problem is that members do not know that i commented on trade to change link return from domain to subdomain

and many other problems when don't see unread count

That was removed in order to speed up the loading of all pages. To do that calculation it was taking up to 2 seconds per page load. So that was 1) making you have to wait a very long time for a page to load and 2) causing the server a lot of load because everybody has to wait as the server figures that out for everyone online at the same time.

We are looking into archiving messages over 2 years old so that this and other calculations will take a lot less time.

can that unread count be just like month old ? so it won't take long to load, or cached
