Google does not recognize a text after single quotes.

Post by olexisomar »

Hi
Does any one here has noticed that googlebots does not reads the text after a single quote?
This is my problem checking for html suggestions within google webmaster tool I find out a lot of short meta descriptions and I realized that most of them were because I was using single quotes like don't or It's and google only see till before the quotation mark for example instead of don't it only read don and every text after the quotation mark is missing. Any Idea how to use those singles quotes? or I just need to type the whole text like instead don't use do not etc etc etc.
Any comment will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Best regards,

Thanks Kapxxx for the response but you are missing a point I guess,
First I was talking about the meta tags description and not the descriptions that googles shows after a search.
Second All the sites you show me there either doesn't have a meta description or are different than the ones googles shows.
Third there are Issues related to it I found it here

Any way thanks a lot and hope this save time to other webmasters.

Yeah you are right, I shouldnt respond early in the morning.
Thanks for bringing this up, never noticed it before but it is definitely something to take into consideration when writing new meta descriptions.
