I think there's a bug in the search page http://www.linkspun.com/trades_search.php
- text below the form says:"Search by Keywords, Domain, Niche, IP Address, or Username" but I think the search by niche is not working.
Here are a couple of examples:
www.fetishbank.net/links/fetishbank-mid-00.html (categorized as MIDGET)
www.fetishbank.net/links/fetishbank-dru-00.html (categorized as DRUNK)
www.fetishbank.net/links/fetishbank-pee-00.html (categorized as PISSING)
now, if I search for "midget" my midget page won't appear while it appears if I search "-mid" (which is part of the url). Obviously I made the test from an account different from the one where these urls are registered as I know that own listings are (obviously) excluded from the results.
If you want and have time, you may want to add a checkbox "Include my own results" - it could be usefull in some special circumstances.

I see... I think we will probably remove category from the list since you can already search by category as it is.

Re: Bug in the search page
It would be a good thing if you keep that features. It would allow to do an extensive search on a given keyword...

The results would be basically into the 1000's of pages in many cases. Some day when JDoughs comes back or a year passes we could possibly look into adding check boxes for limiting things much like Amazon has to look for products in the 25-50 dollar price range only from a certain company and with a certain sized screen...fetishbank wrote:It would be a good thing if you keep that features. But until then... Not a whole lot we can do at the moment.
