Is This A New Trend?

Looking to push links to a site and want specific niches, site types, numbers, tld's etc, this is a good place to ask or look.

Is This A New Trend?

I seem to be spending as much time removing links from members who have 'changed their mind' after several months as I am adding them.... :x

It's just you, thank you for denying 16 trades. And you wonder why people don't like you.

webdanger where does it state you have to accept every trade thrown at you? I am talking of those that agree a trade and remove your link a few months on. You requested 19 links from me all to the same site, I accepted three and turned down the rest. If you want the reason why I only accepted 3 of the 19 you could have sent me a message but as you never here goes:

1) I was not interested in your deep links
2) I am not interested in one page wonder webcam sites with fuck all content
3) All your offerings were from webcam sites
4) All your requests were to the same site
5) You have three top level sites with PR1 the rest are 0 - I am not going to link from a PR2 with several pages to a PR0 one page wonder or deep link

Finally I am not here to be liked, I am here to make money, I did YOU a favour by agreeing the three trades that I did, if you want to scrap them tell me now and I shall gladly remove them.

I think you summed that up beautifully.

@webdanger, to most people here the way in which you ask for links is considered spamming. I am not trying to attack you. Just pointing out that when you have a situation like yours it is better to send 1 or 2 requests for the same site to 400 webmasters than it is to send 10 to 20 requests for the same site to 30 webmasters. I know sending to 400 webmasters is a lot more work on your part, but sending people 10 to 20 for the same site is creating more work for those 30 webmasters. They would more often accept the link if they saw it once or twice.

From personal experience I pretty much treat those kinds of requests as spammy and I block the requester and deny all but maybe one or three of the trades.

Why block them? Because if I don't every month they bombard me with 10 to 20 requests... Multiply that by the same 20 guys doing it and it is 200 to 400 requests a month I don't have time for.

Good linking structure should be spread around, not nested into huge pinwheels with the same webmasters sites.

First of all, i did not submit trades to one domain only. Second of all, you gave me the 5 worst domains from the 19 trades, and you picked my best. This is neither fair nor constructive.

Third of all THIS IS A LINK TRADING WEBSITE, OUR GOAL IS TO RECEIVE TRADES AND SUBMIT TRADES. Often people forget that, if you don't want to link or get requests, hide all your sites and add people you like to friends list, that way you save us, people who want to TRADE LINKS ON A TRADING LINK WEBSITE, a large amount of work in vain. I do not have crappy sites or link farms or spam sites, you should accept every decent trade comes to you, or else do what i suggested before.

And fourth, karma is a bitch.

The way I see it, you can take or leave any trade you want and so can others *shrug*.

If people actually read one anothers profile, they might see what they DON'T accept trades from - which would cut down on wasting each others' time.
Most I've come across have *something* in their profile.

I deny trades constantly (and eventually block if they continuously request the same stuff) because they don't take 2 seconds to read.
I've denied you a number of times... because you kept sending cam site requests - something I state in my profile I don't trade with at all. (and told you privately, as requested in YOUR profile)
Nobody "has to accept" a trade with anyone, especially if they see no benefit whatsoever.

You're taking it way too personally. I suggest finding similar sites to trade with.

Hmm... perhaps mousing over a traders nickname in the find trades listing should popup a little window telling you their profile message?

We shall have to agree to disagree, I don't really understand what you are bitching about, you requested 19 links I accepted 3. I get turned down myself as I guess many others do but I don't run around crying over it with karma is a bitch statements.

You say I gave you the worse 5 well can I remind you that YOU approached me, I never approached you, why request links from those 5 if they are not to your liking (and it was 3 not 5).

For the record when I agree to a link trade I look at how many pages your site has, I look at how many outward bound links you have and how much text on page AFTER the iframes are removed.

I then do a simple google search for yourdomainname, your sites failed everything I usually look for but they had eye candy appeal, I could see you had spent money on them so I gave the trades the benefit of the doubt in what I usually look for.

Just to add please be ready to remove my links as I shall shortly be removing yours and you might want to look at how you speak to people, in particular trade 461584

Quite funny that I should link to you from a PR2 I accept back a link from your PR0 and you leave me two messages:
add the link or get deleted in 24h
next time please chose appropriate pr
WTF is that one about, I give you a link on a PR2 you give me one back on a ZERO

And your new profile
"Niche to niche trades are great but over-rated, accept all ADULT CONTENT trades, backlinks are GOLD, wake up and start trading. DECLINES w/o REASON > BLOCKED
Seriously, I don't need to be doing business with someone as volatile as you sound, are you honestly going to block anyone who turns a trade request down without taking time out explaining their reason for doing so???

Seriously, how do you get anything done if you get this emotionally involved in random individual trade requests?

Chill out, shoot some reqs - some will come through & some wont, overall thats all fine and benefitial.

I agree... I try not to get emotionally involved or take it hard when I get denied...

I totally agree with you, I've had a few people get all pissed when I've denied their trades...just because I denied a trade doesn't necessarily mean I don't want to trade with them or I don't like their sites or whatever. Hell I've had plenty of my trades denied, there's no point in taking it personal...they must have had a reason and that's their business.

lol this is just how it is...I have the same thing in my profile that I don't accept webcam trades...and yet most of my trade requests seem to be a million webcam sites. I let some of them through though...if it's a good trader that I have trades with already then I'll trade with his webcam sites.

Its mind boggling how people decline trade for the most idiotic reasons, "i don't trade with cam sites" - no shit? what are these cam sites? how are they less quality than any other adult related website?why the hell people with sex in their domain, decline trades for cam sex? Isn't it a related keyword?

Its not the emotions, is the stupidity of people and the idea of not trading with cam sites that makes me angry and i wouldn't care less but its my effort to submit these trades and check this domains every time, and these idiots deny them because they want NICHE TO NICHE TRADES, no shit?

One guy actually denied some porn trades saying the he trades only with black porn sites, am I going crazy or what?
