What's wrong with .info domains

Hi guys. I was just wondering what is wrong with .info domains? I have seen that some webmasters wont do trades with them and this morning i am on godaddy and they are giving them away for free with a .com purchase. So is there some reason I should not want to use them? I was gonna use the .info domains on hosted tube sites.

These domains are very popular among black seo webmasters. They are cheap.
One day someone say google do not love these domains because of black seo webmasters often use them for bad sites.

do a search for just about anything. go long tail... see how many .info domains there are in the results. adjust accordingly.
