20 my links are down on your sites for a long period of time, 1 month already. I put down your links, too, because you don't answer my messages and emails and links are still down.

Please let me know to drop all those trades, or you will restore links and continue trading?

I have no idea why you don't reply to my messages, and I see you login here.

I getting that a lot now also. Domains expiring and everything and they wont answer any messages. That crap pisses me off. I send them a message and if I see they have logged on after the date I sent the message and just havnt responded I just remove and move on

When someone has sites that stay down for a week and no response from them or their site expires I generally stop the trade. No reason to trade with someone that doesn't take this as seriously as I do!

Another beautiful thing is when they are missing my link and when we originally set everything up it looked like:

PR3 => PR2 both updated
PR3 => PR1 both updated

And it goes to:

PR3 => PR1 only mine updated in the last year and a half
PR1 => PR2 again only me updated in the last year...

And I remove my link and let them know they pulled my link... They respond with something like:

"Hey, asshole! Thanks for giving me a chance to fix it dick! I turn around for a second and you drop the trade? You are a fucking dumbass! Burn in hell!"

And the real reason I dropped him was his network is crap... I am not going to link into his shit site that was last updated in 2010 and receive a link from another one in the same situation...

And yes... Even I really do get comments like that one complete with profanities. And no, they aren't all from SEO Media.. lol... I've had a minimum of about 35 to 40 users use that language with me... I guess when I look at it from their perspective they are watching their traffic from SE's go to shit and now I am pulling their links from PR3 sites... Gets scary when your shit network is going to get even shittier.

I'm a real shlep when it comes to this stuff and I just dumped a mountain of links from my site. I tried to contact everyone but I get fuddled up and I know there's about a dozen or so I missed.

Still there's no reason to be rude.

When I'm contacted about the missing link I just politely explain the problem and apologize. I don't want to sound like an old guy bemoaning over the good old days But.. The good old days had something that's rare today and that's a bit of class.

My apologies to _PMI_ if one of those trades that angered you was related to me.

I spend 90% of my time on Linkspun sorting through error trades, dealing with people dropping links for no reason, and denying trades from users that have HUGE link farms on the bottom of their pages while hiding their real sites.

This. On the rare occasions I get a request to link to an actual decent established site, when I check that user's available recips they're almost always spammy garbage sites with the quality one(s) hidden. So trade denied. Though I would've happily done an ABC with the quality site if it was available.
