I have a network of sites that can only convert country specific traffic and I want to redirect all other traffic to an alternate similar niche domain, what would the potential impact on my serps be (if any) bearing in mind they are currently better than average for the niche?
do any of you use this or a similar method for sorting & redirecting your traffic & what type of redirect do you use, php, htaccess or other?
your input please.

Re: geo ip redirects & seo
I redirect shit traffic and I also redirect mobile.
Google still gives me mobile results and gives me results from shit countries...
So it seems it doesn't matter...

thanx, and the best practice method would be .htaccess redirects?
my only concern would be that G's spiders follow the redirect,
or are their spiders not country specific and will just crawl from the index down?
