Constructive Criticism Needed On New Blog's SEO

Post by TheSenator »

The domain is old but the site is new. Prior to having a blog, I had a rotating splash page to dating sites. I am planing to focus my site on the performers' name. I am using the new Thesis 1.8 theme. The plugins I am using is "All in One SEO", "W3 Total Cache", "Simple Tags", "Google XML Sitemaps" and "Akismet".

The goal of my new blog is to have Google long tail results of performers' name + verb or adjective.

I didn't see a site Description, maybe I missed it, Google likes a site Description. Install Headspace 2 to put up a Description.

"The goal of my new blog is to have Google long tail results of performers' name + verb or adjective"

If this is your goal, set up a longer page title, with multiple keyword targets within the 70 character limit, preferably even shorter than the 70, like 67 - 69 ish. You don't have to repeat the name of the site in the title.

There are more keyword searches for *nude photos* than *naked pics* right now acc. to Google's keyword ranking tool. I had to check that for another site I'm working on.

This is just an example of a title set-up coming in at 66 characters. you could research your optimum keywords using the Google tool, but the tool often ignores any search with the word *teen* or *teens* in it.

Hot solo teen sites | nude photos | real teen photos | naked teens

You can install Wassup to check your traffic, keyword hits etc.

I think it might be NextGen, but if not NextGen, I'd like to know as well....

(btw Senator, I found yr site description. another SEO idea is to write longer blog posts, Google likes 250 - 400 word posts, keyword rich, etc.)

Giving far too much away for free, why would a visitor click a link through to purchase porn when you are giving 20 free images away per post. You need to tease the visitor into wanting to see more, you are showing them everything so they have no reason to pay when you are giving so much for free.
