Well this times update in a nutshell:

No content, not updated content or outdated content websites => From PR0 to PR2 even 3 or 4.
Quality, unique, handwritten, daily updatad content => From PR3 to PR0, 2 or 1. Not a single instance of upgrading.

Personal experienced.

So yeah, such site can - in fact - be PR4.

the domain is only 2 months old at the most! has aprox 25 back links pointing to it from crap sites some also with fake pr so i still don't see it as a genuine pr4 page

Here is something I can't understand, how you can say that you are getting 200 daily visitors if you haven't any tracking code on your site? don't know how you are measuring that but based on Alexa's stat your site seem to be getting around 2k daily visitors and your best rank is from Romania. here is a link to your alexa's graph alexa's stat
Now for the PR jump it is easy to see why it has changed google is seen at least 16 inbounds links with PR3 and PR2 that some how are passing juice to your domain. I recognize that this is kind of weird based on what people has posted before like domain age, lack of content etc etc, but last update has messed up the SERP so bad that now is hard to tell why PR0 sites are on top 10 results for competitive kwds. Anyway I will suggest you to keep your template as stable as possible and stop to change it any time you wake up in bad mod, that is not your underwear that need to be changed every time you take a shower. Other than that try to create your own content and keep finding links related to your content also do not try to find only links to your index page go and optimize internal pages and try to get them linked from related sites as well. Good luck and keep your finger crossed and hope google don't take your PR down next PR update till next update keep working hard on what I tell you and if next time googles Update PR you keep that PR4 then you can say I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Because in another thread you are trying to sell this domain, all the links your trying to set up will no doubt vanish as soon as the domain is sold......(if sold). so what is your intention sell the domain or build links to it? you need to make a clear decision! No one in their right mind would link to a domain that is for sale and risk their back link(s) vanishing.
