Link Errors Not Working
Not sure if this has been brought up yet. Dropped backlinks are not showing on the link errors page...
Been like this for a while now.

Check your site settings to see if you are blocking: 216.17.96.101
Also, ask your host if they are blocking our bot's IP address.

Re: Link Errors Not Working
I'm manually pressing the "check links" button and it will show that the other trader has dropped his link.
Once this has happened it won't show on the "link errors" page. It returns to showing that both links are up when they are not.

Working on why it is happening in the logic of the bot.Maccsta wrote:I'm manually pressing the "check links" button and it will show that the other trader has dropped his link.

Can you give me a tradeID? This only seems to happen if LS cannot connect to the web site.

Strange because that is going to the link errors page now, a few days ago it wasn't.
I'll post back when I have more time.
Re: Link Errors Not Working
The backlink is missing so I run "check links" and it shows a missing backlink. I then remove my link and run "check links" again and it goes to the "link errors" page. However it is still showing that they are linking back to me so I can't delete the trade.
Here are some examples:
tradeID=632039
tradeID=91160
I've had to run these manually. The backlinks have been down for weeks according to my link checker report.

Re: Link Errors Not Working
Still not working?
Re: Link Errors Not Working
These are not bot errors. These are created when your hosting provider or server firewall blocks linkspun.com at the IP level. Sure, it might say it found the links and then switch back to not found or vise-versa. But it is a problem that will still exist even if I "fix" the logic until you unblock our bot.

Re: Link Errors Not Working
In this example the site pantyvogue is blocking the bot. The logic doesn't allow switching up of the DB unless the bot can connect to both trades. That I will work on fixing. But your frustration with the trade not working is with the site blocking the bot. Why is it blocking the bot? If it weren't, you'd still want this trade I presume.Maccsta wrote:The backlink is missing so I run "check links" and it shows a missing backlink. Re: Link Errors Not Working
Found some bot errors having to do with bad MYSQL settings.
Now if Linkspun doesn't find your link and you swear it is there, you are blocking linkspun.
