Anyone even using this site?
Re: Join blog post trading system for quality contextual lin
I joined but had trouble adding my sites cos the wordpress folder isn't in root, they tried to fix it but didn't. I'm currently moving all the wordpress installs on my sites as I add categories and change them all to single page links for here, but theres still several issues that I'm concerned about using postkings.
For instance, each blog post has two links linking to the same page, one from the image which the alt is the post title and the other from the text link. This a complete waste of a link as google will only count one link. It would be better to have the image link to a blog post and the text link to the blogs index, or just have one text link and have the image link to the image so at least the blog post has some content and doesn't just look like a spammy post.
I also made a test account and did some posts, removed links and deleted posts, deleted sites from the account and stuff, told them the problems with the system but they seem to have the impression I'm an idiot and say the system works fine.
So you could use it and get hundreds of blog posts, them remove all your sites from the system, delete all the blog posts on your sites and the other users will have no idea cos theres then no record of any of your trades in the system cos you've removed your sites and with them all the trades. Great if you're a cheater
Its a shame really cos it looks really promising and is exactly what we need for blog post trading, they just need to address the minor bugs that are a show stopper.

Some of the same issues I have had. But I think it will be good eventually.mcfester wrote:I joined but had trouble adding my sites cos the wordpress folder isn't in root, they tried to fix it but didn't. I posted my blogs there and got nothing so I posted here asking for contextual trades and have got a couple people doing it. Would be great if more people will get on board

It seems I'm wrong about this, at least when it involves an image link and a text link.mcfester wrote: For instance, each blog post has two links linking to the same page, one from the image which the alt is the post title and the other from the text link. As the pictures above show, the first link rule doesn’t apply to image links, whatever the order they appear in the HTML code. - See more at: http://www.seo-doctor.co.uk/first-link- ... ysKKt.dpuf

you imagine that you added your blogs and you will get tons of posts ?major48 wrote:I posted my blogs there and got nothing so I posted here asking for contextual trades and have got a couple people doing it. Would be great if more people will get on board
you have to do requests from other people to make blog post trades.
as most of new users have problems with wordpress installs they just don't take time to fix them.
Re: Join blog post trading system for quality contextual lin
Dude I have had requests out for over a month. 3 of them are with you since 11/03/13!!123anddone wrote: you imagine that you added your blogs and you will get tons of posts ?

I get the types of requests that Matt Sluts posted about all the time (that might only be a slight exaggeration), but it would be rare to zero that any of the requests to pimp someone's product or site would boost my SEO. One of the classic requests I got last year was to pimp Zestra (aka the female Viagra) and plug some endorsement video made by Kris Jenner. I would also have received a free sample!webmasterx wrote:Read this article by Matt Sluts http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/guest-blogging/

You should of done it for the free sample and then deleted the postblogstargirl wrote:I get the types of requests that Matt Sluts posted about all the time (that might only be a slight exaggeration), but it would be rare to zero that any of the requests to pimp someone's product or site would boost my SEO. It sounds like quality guest posts are still ok, but recently for myself any links I get seem to increase rankings only for a short time, and some even decrease rankings.
I added four contexual links from my own blogs to two gallery pages and they both went from 10-15 to 3 in a few days, then dropped to around 30, and just one sidebar link from linkspun sent a page from 30 to 150 and now slowly coming back to 30's.
New pages without any links normally start in the top 5 and stay in the top 10.

It should be a lot of freebies. Most of these sites won't even give you a free membership if your actually making sales for themblogstargirl wrote:
