Google analytics and webmaster tools alternatives?

Post by mcfester »

I want to disassociate all my sites from each other as much as possible but still want the data that google analytics and webmaster tools provide, other than having separate accounts for each site are there any decent alternatives?

Google does not use this data for the purposes of associating sites because it would break their privacy agreement with you. Also it would create such a backlash that many of their top customers would pull out of Google from the bottom up, adwords, adsense, and everything else.

If you no longer wish to use GA, take a look at Piwik.

Piwik.com

It's free. I've been testing it w/ some of my sites.
