another importer problem on long url's having http stripped

Post by vrocks »

It seems when I enter a long URL it strips:

http:// off the link.

Not sure why or if you mean for this to happen, but you can see in my account many of them are this way.

As far as I know that is just a 'visual' strip, in the db and when links are created for it (on add trades page) it shows the full and proper url. It shouldn't effect anything with trading with the sites, only shortens it to fit in lists it's displayed in.

I'll check with Drocd as well to clarify.

Ahh.. well, can they still be sorted inside the http?

ie,

http://www.asite.com
www.bsite.com
http://www.csite.com

currently it is:

http://www.asite.com
http://www.csite.com
www.bsite.com

And when you have 10 pages of sites in there it gets confusing on what is in and what isn't and where it is at if it is...
