critical comment to hide pages

hello,
I want to criticize the function to hide domains for public user.

After introducing this feature I got more and more problems.
On the one hand I have to deny more trades and on the other hand I get only bad
ones. For example, I share everything, because I think if everybody does
we would have mutch better trades. Next is that everyone wants to have good links,
but many guys share only crap. So I have to deny more and more trades.

Hiding pages gives the possibility to be more egoism.

What is the biggest impact of introducing this feature?

What are your experience?

The feature is there for situations like this:

I have a blog. It has 150 links on it already. I don't want to link to anyone else from the home page because it will just dilute everyone else's links. They will be worth less if I put 400!

So I hide the index page. But... I have PR1 and PR2 category pages. I have tag pages... I have strange stuff like Futanaria, CFNM, Toons that my blog doesn't normally deal with and somebody might want a link from one of those pages.

So I make those pages unhidden. Now you can see everything but my index page where I don't want to give more links from.

We do have a block function to block people that keep asking for links.
