I don't think there willbe a problem. I have run my mainstream sites like this for years, posting pure text with no ads and going back after indexing and adding ads both contextual and sidebar. It helps them get indexes quicker and higher that way and I've never had any go down in rank yet.

definitely hearing thumblogger is gone for good. Not surprising, with google slapping poor quality sites left and right it was bound to happen with all the spam, scraped, and duplicate content there.

I was under the impression it was an SEO thing. Module titles are like h2 or h3 and google reads them as such so they should be relevant to your other content somehow.

I give 4 business days and then pull the link. I then give a week without actually canceling (assuming it's a trade I really want). If after that long it's still not added I cancel.

porn sites take eons to get past pr3. Any adult site higher than pr3 needs research done before you trade with it. (For mainstream sites, it's easier to get PR sooner, but still should be researched to avoid crap trades)
